Housing is certainly one of the most basic needs of every human being, as well as food and clothing. As a result, the right to housing has been recognized as a fundamental human right, at international, national or regional level. If this right is violated, it is the dignity of the person that is being violated.

For this reason, the CNUE has decided to engage at local, national and European level to help find housing for Ukrainian refugees arriving in Europe through its “shelter for refugees” initiative. Further information on this initiative will soon be made available under this heading.
